What is power factor?Updated 3 months ago
Power factor is the term applied to the efficiency with which the supplied power is used within an installation. A high power factor means that the electrical power is being used effectively, while a low power factor indicates poor utilisation of electrical power.
Power factor is a measure of the real producing current in a circuit relative to the total current in that circuit. It indicates how much real work is being done relative to the total amount of current drawn by an electrical device. Tala bulbs have a power factor of up to 0.97, placing them at the top end of the market.
